Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the levels of Discourse competence of the second English majors at Thai Nguyen University of Sciences (TNUS) with the view of proposing integral activities. The study made use of the descriptive method to determine the Discourse Analysis in the Preparation of integrative Activities for sophomores at TNUS. There were 32 students and 10 lecturers who were the respondents of the study. From the data obtained in the study, the results about English majors’ discourse competence and teachers’ assessment about this issue were revealed. The findings suggested some integral activities to improve the discourse levels for English language students.
