Abstract: Physical education is a pedagogical process to protect, improve health, improve physical condition, train personality and equip the motor skills necessary for each individual in life. Fitness and physical development are an important part of health education. Physical development follows the laws of nature and is greatly influenced by education. In which, physical education plays a decisive role in the process of physical development and enhances human health. For many years, physical education for university students in Ho Chi Minh City has been concerned; however, it has not achieved the desired results. This study focuses on analyzing the physical education status, thereby recommending solutions to improve the quality of physical education for universities in Ho Chi Minh City.
