| Abstract: |
This study explored the relationship between leadership competence, organizational culture, and job attrition among faculty members at Don Carlos Polytechnic College in Don Carlos, Bukidnon, Philippines. It aimed to examine how leadership qualities, such as communication and decision-making skills, influenced the institution’s organizational culture and faculty turnover. Adopting a correlational research design, data were gathered from 100 faculty members through structured surveys. The results revealed that a competent school administration and a supportive organizational culture were significantly associated with lower attrition rates. Despite generally reporting job satisfaction, faculty members expressed notable concerns about inadequate compensation and considerations of leaving the institution. These findings emphasize the critical role of effective leadership and a strong organizational culture in mitigating job attrition. The study underscores the need for targeted improvements in administrative practices, such as fostering open communication, providing competitive compensation, and building a more supportive work environment, to enhance faculty retention and strengthen educational outcomes. |
