Abstract: The study determined the effectiveness of electronic books as interactive digital learning materials on the reading performance and motivation of Manobo- tigwahanon learners of Bulacao Integrated School Bulacao, Concepcion, Valencia City, Bukidnon. It sought to: determine the reading rate performance of the learners before and after the exposure to eBooks; discover the reading accuracy performance of the learners before and after the exposure to eBooks; describe the reading comprehension of the learners before and after the exposure to eBooks; investigate the motivation level of learners before and after the exposure to eBooks; ascertain the significant difference in the reading performance of the learners before and after the exposure to eBooks and lastly, find out the significant difference in the motivation level of learners before and after the exposure to Electronic Books. A one-group pretest-posttest research design research design was utilized; learners in Grade 4 identified as frustration reading level learners were the research respondents of the study. The research was conducted at Bulacao Integrated School, Concepcion, Valencia City, Bukidnon School Year 2022-2023. Data shows that in the pre-test learners' reading rate was slow, while the overall mean score in the post-test revealed an average result. The reading accuracy level of learners’ data shows that the pre-test indicates frustration while the overall mean score in the post-test revealed an instructional. Also, the reading comprehension level in the pre-test revealed the frustration level while data shows the instructional level for the post-test result. Moreover, for learners’ motivation, the pretest was moderate motivation while the posttest had a high level of motivation. There is a significant difference between the pretest and the posttest results of learners in reading and a significant difference in the motivation levels of learners. It is concluded that electronic books enhance learners’ reading performance and motivation. It is concluded that electronic books enhance learners’ reading performance and motivation.
