Abstract: This study investigates the role of internationalization in improving both educational outcomes and global competence by analyzing existing literature on internationalization strategies, student mobility, curriculum development, and intercultural learning. Through a comprehensive review and synthesis of empirical research, this study explores how different internationalization efforts, such as global partnerships, cross-border programs, and culturally diverse classrooms, contribute to student academic success and global citizenship skills. While internationalization is widely regarded as beneficial, the analysis reveals disparities in access, equity, and the depth of integration of global perspectives into curricula. This research identifies key challenges in the implementation of internationalization policies and provides insights into the critical factors that influence its effectiveness in enhancing both educational quality and students' preparedness for a globalized workforce. The findings suggest that to maximize the potential of internationalization, educational institutions must adopt more inclusive, structured approaches that embed global competence across all learning experiences and institutional practices.
