Abstract: |
This study investigates the influence of service quality dimensions—tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy—on the financial wellbeing of rural bank clients in the third district of Bukidnon, Philippines. Rural banks play a vital role in enhancing financial inclusion in underserved communities, and the quality of their services directly affects client outcomes. Using a quantitative, descriptive-correlational research design, data were collected from 397 clients through a structured survey. Findings revealed that all five service quality dimensions were positively perceived, with tangibility rated highest. Results also showed a significant positive relationship between service quality and financial wellbeing, especially in dimensions such as assurance and empathy. The study concludes that service quality is a critical driver of financial literacy, security, and behavior, underscoring the need for rural banks to adopt client-centered strategies to improve economic resilience and financial inclusion. |
