Abstract: |
The use of modern health technology is paramount in delivering efficient and high-quality healthcare services. Registered nurses, as frontline healthcare providers, are integral in implementing and utilizing these technologies. This study aimed to determine the impact of age, gender, and years of experience on the knowledge and acceptance of modern health technology among registered nurses at Justiniano R. Borja General Hospital. The research employed researcher-made instruments for data collection. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson correlation, mean, and standard deviation. The study revealed a significant relationship between age, gender, and years of experience concerning knowledge and acceptance of modern health technology among registered nurses in Justiniano R. Borja General Hospital. Notably, nurses aged 35 and above and female nurses with 1-5 years of work experience displayed higher knowledge and acceptance levels compared to their counterparts with different characteristics. The research demonstrates a clear link between age, gender, and years of experience with the knowledge and acceptance of modern health technology among registered nurses. Specifically, female nurses aged 35 and above with 1-5 years of experience exhibit significant levels of knowledge and acceptance. It is recommended that the administration tailors training and educational programs for continuous learning and adaptation to technological advancements to enhance the utilization of modern health technology. |
