Abstract: Citizen's satisfaction is a key indicator of the quality and effectiveness of public service delivery. However, measuring and improving citizen's satisfaction is not a straightforward task, as it depends on various factors such as expectations, perceptions, preferences, and experiences of the service users. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the theoretical foundations of citizen's satisfaction on the public service's administration, drawing from different disciplines such as public administration, psychology, sociology, and economics. The paper reviews the main concepts, definitions, dimensions, and determinants of citizen's satisfaction, as well as the methods and challenges of measuring and enhancing it.
