| Abstract: |
Criminal record expungement is an important legal institution in criminal law, aimed at creating favorable conditions for individuals who have completed their prison sentences to reintegrate into society. Originating from policies of leniency and the restoration of civil rights, the legal provisions serve only as a guideline, while the actual implementation depends on several other crucial factors. This leads to procedural challenges in expungement. This paper focuses on analyzing the current legal provisions regarding the conditions, process, and procedures for expungement, with the objective of supporting individuals with criminal records in exercising their legal rights. |
