Abstract: American Corners (AC) have been established in the Philippines as part of the cultural program of the United States (US) Embassy to serve as regional resource centers for a vast array of information resources and programs that highlight American culture, history, current events, and government. These valuable American-themed resources are donated by the US embassy in Manila to a host institution’s library. As such, AC serves to build bridges of understanding, collaboration, and partnership between the Philippines and the United States of America. A descriptive-correlational research design was employed in this study using frequency, mean, and percentage to assess the influence of service quality, and user satisfaction on research efficiency at the MSU American Corner. Pearson’s correlation coefficient was used to determine the significant relationship between service quality and user satisfaction while regression analysis assessed their influence on research efficiency. Data were gathered through a survey questionnaire given to the actual participants of the special library. Findings revealed a strong positive correlation between service quality and user satisfaction, both of which significantly impacted research efficiency. Key strengths included reliable staff assistance, accessible resources, and a conducive physical environment, though opportunities for improvement were noted in technology integration and resource availability. The study underscores the role of specialized libraries in fostering academic productivity and intercultural dialogue, offering practical insights for enhancing library services to meet diverse user needs effectively.
