Abstract: |
The study's main objective was to determine the digital leadership, school culture, and emotional intelligence on the technological capability of school leaders in the Division of Bukidnon and Valencia City. The study was conducted among the two (2) divisions, where 300 elementary and secondary school leaders from different schools were represented to answer the questionnaires. The study revealed there is a significant result in digital leadership in the Division of Bukidnon and Valencia as measured through ICT knowledge, digital communication skills, and integration of technology in leadership. Moreover, the school culture has a strong emphasis on shared values and beliefs, leadership and administration, and learning environment. Additionally, school leaders' emotional intelligence was high in terms of factors such as self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness and relationship management; hence, competencies are essential for effective leadership, fostering a supportive school culture, and driving organizational success. Further, the descriptive analysis of the school leaders' technological capability as measured through technology leadership, integration of technology, and stakeholder engagement shows that effective technological leadership among school leaders is not solely about technical skills but equally involves interpersonal support, collaboration, and relationship-building. The measured variables of digital leadership, school culture, and emotional intelligence are significantly related to the technological capability of school leaders. However, digital leadership in terms of digital integration, school culture in terms of learning environment, and emotional intelligence regarding social awareness and relationship management, and self-regulation, were the best predictors of technological capability of school leaders. The best-fit model was anchored on instructional leadership and emotional intelligence. |
