| Abstract: |
Every country desires prosperity for every citizen. Indonesia is trying to realize these ideals through State Capital Inclusion (PMN) in State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). However, prosperity is still far from reality even though PMN implementation has entered its third decade. This research examined the impact of PMN on BUMN using secondary data and analyzed qualitatively and descriptively. The results of this research show that there are still many PMN practices that do not encourage the positive performance of several state-owned companies and even give the impression that they are only carrying out the government's mandate for public services. Apart from that, the agricultural sector is a marginalized economic sector even though this sector contributes to the absorption of large numbers of workers and saves growth in critical times. The research produced recommendations for the government to be more selective in providing PMN to BUMN. On the other hand, the government needs to provide PMN to the agricultural sector and alternative policies that lead to efforts to arouse the interest of the younger generation in the agricultural sector. |
