Abstract: This article examines the practice of applying criminal law provisions on the offense of producing and trading counterfeit medicines for treatment and prevention in Vietnam in recent years. It identifies difficulties and obstacles in the application of criminal law to this type of offense, as well as the causes and limitations. On that basis, the paper proposes solutions to improve the effectiveness of applying criminal law provisions on the offense of producing and trading counterfeit medicines for treatment and prevention in Vietnam in the coming period.
