| Abstract: |
Financial management capacity is a key factor determining the operational efficiency and sustainability of cooperatives. In Cho Don District, Bac Kan Province, a mountainous region in northeast Vietnam, the rapid growth in the number of cooperatives—especially in 2024 with eight newly established cooperatives (reaching 400% of the planned target)—highlights the urgent need to enhance financial management skills in the collective economic sector. This paper focuses on analyzing the current state of financial capacity among local cooperatives and proposes several solutions to improve their ability in financial planning, accounting and control. These efforts aim to improve the efficiency of production and business activities while building a sustainable cooperative model in the context of accelerating digital transformation and deeper economic integration. |
