Abstract: The study aimed to investigate how the adoption of e-commerce affects the business performance of micro and small enterprises . The research evaluates e-commerce adoption in terms of technology utilization, integration into business processes, customer engagement, and market reach. A descriptive-correlational research design was used, employing a survey questionnaire distributed to 358 randomly selected micro and small enterprises. Descriptive statistics, correlational analysis, and regression analysis were used to analyze the data. Results showed a moderate level of adoption and business performance. A significant positive correlation was found between e-commerce adoption and business performance. Customer engagement and market reach were found to be statistically significant predictors of business performance, with market reach exerting the strongest influence. The findings highlight the potential of digital tools to enhance MSE competitiveness and suggest the need for greater support in expanding e-commerce integration in rural areas.
