| Abstract: |
Internal control is one of the crucial factors in ensuring the effective, safe, and transparent operations of a bank. It not only helps prevent risks, fraud, and errors but also enhances the trust of customers, partners, and regulatory authorities. In the context of increasing global economic integration, the adoption of international internal control standards is necessary to enhance the competitive capacity and reputation of Vietnamese banks. This article synthesizes and analyzes the international experience in internal control of banks in several countries worldwide, while providing lessons for Vietnam in constructing and improving a modern internal control system that aligns with international standards and domestic realities. |
