| Abstract: |
The current legal situation in Vietnam regarding domestic solid waste management, including its advantages and limitations, will be thoroughly analyzed in this article. The legal regulations on the management of domestic solid waste are deemed suitable for the socio-economic level, especially in terms of scientific and technological advancements. However, the implementation of these regulations has encountered several difficulties and challenges, such as the absence of standards for various technical specifications in the management of domestic solid waste, a lack of provisions determining the responsibilities of collection and transportation units in ensuring the proper classification of domestic solid waste, and an absence of mechanisms to encourage the development of environmental protection science and technology. The management of domestic solid waste remains unresolved. Based on these assessments, the article proposes corresponding solutions to enhance the legal framework for the management of domestic solid waste. |
