| Abstract: |
In the context of Vietnam's increasingly deep economic integration, economic groups play a key role in leading growth, promoting innovation and enhancing national competitiveness. However, economic groups in Vietnam are facing many challenges in financial security, especially the dependence on debt, risks from corporate bond issuance, lack of transparency in capital management and the possibility of spreading systemic risks between parent companies and subsidiaries. This article focuses on clarifying the concept and characteristics of financial security in economic groups, analyzing the current situation in Vietnam, thereby proposing a system of principles and solutions to ensure financial security in accordance with the characteristics of corporate governance. Through studying the cases of some typical groups such as Vingroup, Viettel, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) and Hoa Phat, the article shows the importance of building a monitoring mechanism, managing systemic risks and improving financial transparency, aiming towards sustainable development. |
