| Abstract: |
This paper analyzes the factors affecting the education expenditure decision of households in Vietnam . The data obtained from the Vietnam household living standard survey in 2016, 2018 and 2020 are used for analysis with Logit model. Research results show that household income has a positive influence on education spending decisions of households. Factors on household head characteristics such as age, gender, occupation, and qualifications of the head of the household also affect the decision on education expenditure of households. There are differences in education expenditure decisions of households living in urban and rural areas. |
