Abstract: In the context of rapid development of information technology, the exchange of information via electronic means has become popular, leading to an increase in the collection and use of personal information. Personal information, including full name, date of birth, occupation, etc., is closely linked to the personal rights of each individual, so the protection of personal information has become an issue of concern to both society and the international community. This article will focus on studying theoretical issues about the nature of personal information, analyzing current legal regulations on the protection of personal information in Vietnam. From there, evaluate the practical application of law in this field, point out the advantages, limitations and make recommendations to improve the legal system, ensuring the rights of individuals in the digital age. |
