Abstract: This study explored the work-school integration strategies and their influence on the academic performance of third year working students at the Philippine College Foundation. Employing a sequential explanatory mixed-method research design, the study first collected and analyzed quantitative data on students' academic performance, measured through their General Weighted Average (GWA). This was followed by qualitative data gathering through in-depth interviews to gain deeper insights into the strategies employed by students in balancing work and academic responsibilities. Finally, the study integrated both data sets to provide a more holistic understanding of the phenomenon. Quantitative results revealed that the academic performance of working students was very satisfactory. Thematic analysis of the qualitative data identified key strategies that supported work-school integration, including effective time and task management, maintaining a strong support system, applying work-related experiences to academic tasks, and demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. The integration of findings indicated that these strategies play a significant role in supporting and enhancing students’ academic success. The study underscores the importance of equipping working students with effective integration strategies to foster academic achievement amidst the demands of employment.
